Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila
Cointreau orange liquor
Cranberry juice
Lime juice
2 dashes of Tabasco
Garnished with a lime wheel

“The inspiration behind this drink came about because I wanted to marry all southern liquors into a delicious drink that speaks directly to our culture here in South Louisiana. I’m starting with tequila… In 1758 Antonio de Cuervo received a land grant to start an agave farm in the Jalisco regions of Mexico, Texas and Louisiana. Cuervo was also granted the first license to commercially make tequila. The family started packaging their tequila in 1880 thus giving it the name "Jose Cuervo".
This drink lends itself to a different method of preparation, blends well with different liquors, and marries well with abstract ingredients such as the Tabasco.”
